I like this laptop, a lot. Is it well worth 9? My budget is under 0. And its features seem to be of a 0-800 Laptop. This one is fairly new, I just want to know what you think of it. Also what do you think of HP in general?
i saw a hp laptop at walmart.com for 928.00 it has the dual core mobile technology (1.6 ghz). 2048 ram and 120gb. it also has a built in dvd burn and it comes with a web cam. i just wanted to know if it was a good buy. i am a college student. i dont really download music and stuff i just want something that is going to last me for a while.
walmart has a 3 year extended warranty for 103.00 it covers 100% of repairs. if they have to fix the same problem 3 times, they just replace it. it even covers someone coming out to fix it. my friend bought a hp desktop for over 2 grand at circuit city. her extended warranty cost over 500 dollars. that’s alot
My HP laptop can’t get any wireless connection. My other laptop(the one im using now) gets perfect connection, but all of a sudden the connection for my HP just stopped. I rebooted it, and no luck. I did a system repair, but still no internet. Then I did a full system restore, deleting all files and setting it back to factory built, whatever, and still no connection. and yes, my wireless IS turned on.I connected the modem straight to my laptop and still no connection. I tried everything on the laptop that dealt with internet connection and nothing worked. Before I restored the system, the laptop would have constant and frequent out of no where shut downs. And after it shut down, I would turn it on, but to have it shut down 4 seconds later. I would have to wait hours before I could turn it back on. Then suddenly no internet, no wireless, no nothing. don’t know what the hell to do, and dont wanna spend money just so bestbuys could analyze whats wrong then pay again for them to fix it.
I need to have my laptop by August 13th.

There is a graphics card or monitor problem with the computer, but I’m getting a new computer without really wanting to deal with it. How can I get the pictures and documents off of it? I do not have a desktop, only another HP laptop, dv6000 that I can use. I don’t know if the hard drives of the two are the same so I could switch them out. I was thinking maybe using the other laptop as an external monitor?
