Looking for a laptop thats got at least 160gb hard drive, is fast, good for homebased connectivity (and built in wifi) and can handle computer games with nice enough graphics, size and brand are not an issue (though i would prefer to not get a dell) and im hoping to spend under 500. any good ones you know of?

Okay so I’m a new college student and like all new college students, it’s time tin invest in a laptop. I’m using my left over financial aid which is roughly about 0. So I was planning on hopefully getting a nice hp with windows 7 because that’s what our desktop is and I LOVE it. But now my dad this Toshiba kick which I’m really not all that thrilled about. So, is a Toshiba just as cool looking as an Hp or Dell? Which would you prefer?

I am thinking of purchasing a laptop from Lenovo’s or Dell’s outlet. Some laptops state "refurbished" and some state "redistributed". Can anyone tell me what this means?

i bought a refurbished dell inpiron 1564 its a great computer but the battery it seems to be a little loose with annoys me very much i am also affraid that in the future the battery will be so loose that it will fall right out of the laptop i was wondering if refurbished computers have the battery warranty and if dell will replace it if they do?

Ok i upgraded my toshiba laptop satellite model number l25 s1196 with a dell cd now my audio drivers dont work i when to toshiba but for this model there is only xp audio drivers available what can i do?

I need some place that has a reputation for quality and good customer service.
I want a good laptop as well; something like a sony, dell, gateway, or mac.
