Every time I turn on my Toshiba laptop it makes a ‘ding ding’ (doorbell) sound. I’ve tried to track down and change the settings but have been unable to do so to date. Can someone please tell me how to turn this off ?
I need an ultraportable laptop with dedicated graphics (NVIDIA GeForce) with at least 512mb of memory. The screen has to be 15.5” or less. It needs to have at least 2 GHz (Intel Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad, Core i3, Core i5, or Core i7) CPU, 3GB memory, and costs up to 0 (new or refurbished). Thank you.
Both are running some pretty good specials, and the prices on the same laptop w/ the same specs are about the same. Are there any advantages/disadvantages between buying from HP directly or from Best Buy? I wouldn’t be buying an extended warranty from either place, but I am curious if there is a defect in the laptop, who would be easier/cheaper to deal with. Would HP make me pay shipping in that kind of instance? Or would Best Buy give me more of a problem??
